Album cover

I was told that we need to create an album cover as well as an artist website. Album needs to be done individually and I have ideas for that, the scene where Tia is sitting and she is surrounded by candles. For the website, Sarah has volunteered to create the website but we will all do two pages each.

Here are some ideas that could be used for the album cover:

The plan so far…

Monday- record pictures with Duresh’s brother and print them out on photo paper and create the set.

Tuesday- record at sureya’s house, the pick up shots we need. The shots we need to record are; the bedroom scene and the jumper shot. We will also record at Sarah’s house the guitar bit on the stairs.

Wednesday- record the Polaroid scene

Thursday- upload on one computer and help Becky to edit on the other (edit the bedroom scene)

Monday- help Sarah to edit the Polaroid scene during lunch and lesson.

Tuesday- carry on editing myself and upload the song on Final Cut.

Looking for a male artist!

We have decided to use my brother’s friend who is a model and I feel he will look good with Tia. However, the artist was not able to record with us due to the recording times and his school times, so we have decided to use my brother instead.

NEW IDEA!!

We all came up with another idea which we like a lot but for that we will need a male actor. The idea is that we will take pictures of the two artists together as “couples” and then we will create a frame where all the pictures will be placed on a wall as “her memories of him and her still being there for him”. We will then record the female artist singing and going through the images that will be in the background.

Editing session 4

Everything is going fine, the uploading is done and we have noticed that we need more shots. I have also started to edit the sequence, the first 12 seconds of the sequence are done and I am very pleased with what we have. However, I do understand I might have to make more changed as not all the sections are done and the song is not uploaded.

Editing session 3

I have uploaded everything on IMovie HD, Sarah and Becky is gone to record as it is the best thing to do at the moment and we need more shots. I have sorted each shot out in order so it will be easier for me to edit. Today I was told that Sarah and Becky also need to edit a section of the music video, so I have left them a section to do.

Becky = the bedroom scene

I have left them all the shots in order so it will be easier for them to edit when it is their turn, I will be there to help them because it took me 3 lessons to figure out how to use Final Cut and we can not lose more time.

Editing session 2

I still can’t find a way to upload straight on to Final Cut so I’ve decided to upload on IMovie HD and transfer it on to Final Cut, I think that might be the easiest way and I don’t have time, the first edit deadline is near.
